Little something about me...

As I reminisce about my childhood, I realize painting and drawing were always present. After obtaining my teaching degree and teaching for a few years, I realized that I needed to spend more time on what truly made me happy. I stopped teaching and started my path into the art world. Although primarily self-taught, I have had the guidance of artists who have taught me not only the principles and techniques of painting but have also imbued in me the drive and commitment to my artistic pursuit.

My techniques have varied and evolved over time. I am also moving away from using traditional painting mediums such as brushes, uncovering new forms of expression. As part of my journey, I am detaching myself from realistic style and have become more in touch with my feelings and imagination. There is no set trajectory for me. As an artist, I am fully aware that there is no set goal and that the pursuit of visual expression is the goal in itself. My one certainty is that the more I paint, the more essential art becomes within me.
